CHAPTER 1: Legal marriage

The next morning,

Ayesha jolted awake to the sound of a loud crack. Groaning, she sat up, her phone buzzing incessantly beside her. With a sigh, she answered, finding Anushka on the line.

"Hey Ayesha, are you okay? What's going on? Why haven't you been in touch?" Anushka's voice was filled with concern.

"Yeah, I'm okay, just had a bit of a rough night. Sorry, Anu, everything happened so fast, I didn't know who to turn to," Ayesha replied, her voice tinged with exhaustion and confusion.

"Hey dear, don't worry, I'm here for you. But could you please explain what happened? It's all over the news that VINAMRA AGARWAL has married his secretary, who is seven years younger than him," Anushka exclaimed with concern.

"I know, Anushka. I'm trying to process everything, but it's hard. The truth is, I'm married to him now. Whether I wanted it or not, I have to accept it," Ayesha replied, her voice trembling with regret, tears welling up in her eyes.

"I can't believe you married someone seven years older than you! Do you even understand him? Can you be his wife? Can you love him? Or can he love you?" Anushka's words hit Ayesha like a wave, stirring up a mix of sadness and anger as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"No! No! No! It's not love. It's a marriage forced upon me. He didn't even ask for my consent. He just left me here when I was at my lowest... He has no heart. I know it's impossible for now, but just give it a few months. He'll find his own path, and so will I," Ayesha declared, shocking Anushka with her resolve.

As Anushka paced her room, she spoke with conviction, 'You know who Vinamra is, right? He's not like anyone else. He's the most famous and richest businessman in the country. No one can match his level.'

Meanwhile, Ayesha, with a sly smile, replied from the kitchen, 'Whoever he may be, I don't care. He hired me as his secretary during that crucial time, which I'll never forget. But this situation is different. I'll never forgive him. Never.'

Anushka consoled her over the phone, 'Stay strong, Ayesha. Pray to Mata Rani. She will bring you happiness again. Call me if you need anything, okay? Meet me soon. Take care. Bye.'

"Thank you for your words," Ayesha murmured before hanging up.

It was Ayesha's first morning after her marriage. Just yesterday, she was a happy, independent woman, but overnight, her life shattered into pieces. Tears still lingered in her eyes as she mourned her shattered dreams of a perfect wedding and a loving husband.

She buried her emotions, made breakfast for herself, and decided to prepare something for Vinamra, realising he hadn't eaten since last night.

Meanwhile, in his room, Vinamra sat with his hands clasped around his waist, tilting back in his chair, lost in thought. 'I know I've wronged you, Ayesha. I never meant to hurt you. But seeing you near death yesterday crushed me. It felt like someone was tearing my heart apart. I can't bear to see you like this, Ayesha. I'm so sorry.’

After some time , phone rang in vinamra's phone It was Aaditya vinamra bestfriend .Β

He rose from the table to take the call.

"Hey bro, what's up? How's it going?" Aaditya asked, jogging in the garden.

"Everything's fine. Aur tu bata, kaisa hai?" Vinamra replied in his usual calm tone.

(How are you?)

"Arrey, I'm good! By the way, I heard you got married! But how did that happen? You didn't even reach out to me! Kaisa dost hai rey tu ?" Aaditya exclaimed, clearly surprised.

"Yeah, I got married last night. It's quite a story. Let's meet up and I'll fill you in on everything," Vinamra responded.

"Oh really? I heard you tied the knot with Ayesha. She's much younger than you. Are you sure about this? Does she understand you? Will she ever love you?" Aaditya's words struck a nerve with Vinamra, stirring a mix of anger and sadness.

"Aaditya, this is our personal matter. We'll handle it. No need for you to stress about us," Vinamra replied, his tone firm.

"Hey bro, I was just asking casually. I know you're great at making decisions, but why the sudden coldness?" Aaditya said, sounding disappointed.Vinamra realise that it is not good for him to talk to anybody right now that's why he said "sorry bro I am just frustrated that's why, waise mera ek kam karega mujhe meri or Ayesha ki shadi ke legal government papers banwana haiΒ

( I have one work to do, I have to get the legal government papers made for my and Ayesha's marriage.)

" Thik hai bhai, kam ho jayega and he hang up the call.

( Okay bro you work will be done )

As Aaditya ended the call, Vinamra turned around to find Ayesha standing at the door, holding a plate of breakfast.

Intrigued, Vinamra couldn't help but wonder, "I think she heard everything."

He flashed a friendly smile and asked Ayesha, "Hungry? Or should I call the chef for your royal breakfast?"

Ayesha remained silent, placing the plate on the table. Slowly approaching Vinamra, she looked him in the eye and said softly, "You may have me on paper, but my heart will never be yours. I curse you with a life devoid of happiness in this marriage."

Her words ignited Vinamra's anger. "Ayesha, watch your words!" he warned, but she cut him off.

"Don't threaten me," Ayesha interrupted defiantly. "You have powerβ€”power to dismiss anyone, to marry anyoneβ€”but you'll never have my love. There's only hate in my heart for you."

Vinamra, overwhelmed, grabbed Ayesha's wrist tightly. She winced in pain, trying to free herself, but his grip was unyielding. In her struggle, she lost balance and fell heavily against the table, hitting her head.

The room fell silent as Ayesha lay on the floor, hurt and stunned, while Vinamra stared in disbelief at what had transpired.
