CHAPTER 4: Possesive or Protector

Ayesha's Pov:

It was almost midnight.

"Why is he calling me now and what is he doing in my palace? Should I go talk to him? But what if Vinamra sees me talking to another guy at this time?"

Forget it. I'll go. It's my life, and he shouldn't control whom I talk to or what I do." Ayesha thought with confusion.

As Ayesha left her room, the darkness of the palace enveloped her. It was so dark that even animals seemed wary of it. She passed through corridors and down stairs, opting for the smaller back door because the front one was too large to manage.

Opening the door, she found Rohan, her colleague who is two years older than her, standing there with a strange expression on his face.

"Ayesha, why didn't you tell me you got married to our boss? And why haven't you been answering my calls since morning?" Rohan said, looking into her eyes.

"What are you doing here? Do you realize the risk? We could discuss this at the office," Ayesha hurriedly whispered, trying to keep her voice down.

"But I can't bear to be without you, Ayesha. Your presence means everything to me," Rohan said, grabbing her hand.

This was typical of Rohanβ€”always flirting, always making unwanted advances. Ayesha didn't appreciate it.

"Rohan! Let go of my hand, or you'll regret it!" Ayesha warned, her eyes flashing with anger as she tried to pull away.

Suddenly, Rohan noticed a looming figure beside Ayesha, glaring at him with fury that threatened harm. It was Vinamra.

Vinamra grabbed Rohan by the throat and threw him aside. Rohan hit the ground hard, feeling intense pain in his spine. He tried to stand and muttered, "Sorry, sir! I didn't mean any harm to Ayesha."

But Vinamra's anger was at its peak. He grabbed Rohan's collar, dragged him out of the house, and called for security. He beat Rohan mercilesslyβ€”cracking bones and causing bleeding from his nose and head.

"Never touch or talk to any woman like that again, especially my wife, Mrs. Vinamra Ayesha Agarwal!" Vinamra's words echoed with unchecked rage.

Vinamra's possessiveness and protectiveness towards Ayesha frightened her deeply.

Vinamra took Ayesha's hand and led her back inside. His grip was strong, causing her discomfort, tears streaming down her face.

But when Vinamra saw her pain, he released her with regret in his eyes and went back to his room.

*Vinamra's pov:

I don't understand why she acts like this. Thank God I woke up and heard her anklets in the corridor, alerting me before that scoundrel could harm her.

Why does she feel uneasy around me? Why does she seem to hate me? Can't she see my love, my concern, beneath my anger? Vinamra thought, tears in his eyes as he sat on the sofa.

It feels like I belong to her, but she doesn't belong to me.

Meanwhile, Ayesha sat on the couch, crying, eventually falling asleep.

*Next Morning:

Ayesha woke suddenly, finding herself in the hall where she had fallen asleep.

Memories of the previous night flooded her mind, filling her with regret.

"I won't dwell on what happened yesterday. What does Vinamra think of me now? Ugh! This mess was all Rohan's fault!" Ayesha thought angrily.

She watched Vinamra come down the stairs, dressed in a three-piece suit, heading to the office without breakfast.

Vinamra didn't look at Ayesha. She felt a deep sense of emptiness.

And she said " it's all empty" in lost

*At the Office:

The office was bustling with activity. Vinamra's arrival was cold and commanding, silencing everyone.

He called Aaditya. "Aaditya! Give me the business statistics."

"Yes, boss," Aaditya replied.

He went over the profits, losses, and the company's current status. Vinamra had built this brand by himself, his unwavering determination driving its success.

After the meeting, Vinamra asked Aaditya, "About last night, during our wedding, who could be behind that?"

"I'm not sure, Vinamra. None of our business partners seem responsible," Aaditya said.

Vinamra looked puzzled. "What are you trying to say?"

"It might involve the underworld. Someone might have a grudge," Aaditya suggested.

"Don't turn my fears into reality. If that's true, they'll regret it. I'll show them the consequences of hurting my Esha," Vinamra's anger flared.

"I won't tolerate any threat to my Esha," Vinamra declared, his eyes burning with emotion and anger.

Aaditya nodded solemnly. "They'll suffer unimaginable pain for crossing bhabhi."

"Definitely," Vinamra affirmed.

*Author's Pov:

Vinamra was a successful businessman with a formidable reputation in the underworld, gaining numerous enemies with his cold, honest demeanor. His protective attitude towards Ayesha was shaped by a complex life intertwined with dangerous dealings.

His greatest adversary, the notorious "God Lord," rivaled Vinamra in the underworld, particularly concerning illegal activities like drug trafficking. Vinamra's greatest vulnerability was his love for Ayesha, a weakness the "God Lord" could exploit.

*Vinamra's Thoughts:

"I hope my suspicions are wrong," Vinamra pondered, staring out his window with his head resting on his hand.
